Who We Are

Volunteer Program

Volunteers are the heart of In The Image. In 2021, 67% of our work was powered by volunteers—community members who believe in empowering others through compassion, connection, and service. Our Volunteer Program is designed to foster relationships and create opportunities that inspire hope, uphold dignity, and promote respect. After attending a Volunteer Orientation, individuals can donate their time on a weekly, monthly, or occasional basis.

We welcome volunteers, because every helping hand contributes to building a thriving community where everyone has the chance to reach their full potential. Whether you're organizing donations, assisting at Pop-Up Shops, or supporting behind-the-scenes operations, your involvement helps create meaningful change, today and for generations to come.

What We Do

In The Image's Volunteers:

Volunteers are the driving force behind In The Image’s mission to passionately empower individuals toward personal growth and stability. Since our founding, the Volunteer Program has been a cornerstone of our work—bringing people together to foster relationships, inspire hope, and uphold dignity and respect for every member of our community. We believe no one should go without life’s basic necessities. That’s why our volunteers create warm, welcoming environments where individuals can shop for clothing and household items at no cost. Whether you're looking to serve weekly, monthly, or occasionally, we have opportunities that fit your schedule and interests.

Volunteers contribute their time and talents across many areas, including:
