S.H.O.E.S. Volunteers

In The Image is excited to celebrate our 27th Anniversary of Shoes Help Our Elementary Students (S.H.O.E.S.). Our goal is to serve over 4,000 Kent County Elementary Students this year and we would love your help. Individuals who choose to donate their time to our S.H.O.E.S. Program can be seen:

• Greeting students as they walk in for their appointment.
• Sizing students for their new shoes and helping them finding their perfect pair.
• Helping hand away prizes at the giveaway table
• Sorting inventory in the S.H.O.E.S. room.
• And more!

Whether you want to be more hands on with your volunteer experience or help In The Image behind the scenes, we have a spot for you.

All volunteers wanting to sign up must make an account through our new volunteer portal.

To sign up individually, find the date(s) you would like to volunteer, click the button "Respond Individually", and follow the prompts given.

To sign up your group, find the date(s) you and your group would like to volunteer, click the button "Respond as a Team", add each volunteer that you know will be in attendance, please select a group leader and follow all of the remaining prompts.

*If you do not know all the names of the individuals in your group, you may reserve spots for your group and input names later.

To ensure the safety of our students, all individuals volunteering at S.H.O.E.S. will need to consent to a Criminal Background Check by filling out the form found here, CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK CONSENT FORM LINK

If you do not consent and/or do not pass the CBC, you will not be able to volunteer at S.H.O.E.S.
